Wedding photography and wedding videography

It was an absolute pleasure to be there for

Danica and Jeremiah, and film their love story

Here you can watch a highlight film of the day:

My first contact with them was through a phone call. I loved that! Getting to know the people I will be working with, is the best part - I learn a lot about their personality and energy. And that’s the most important for me in order to deliver a gallery and film that will truly reflect them.

Danica and Jeremiah sounded like amazing people from the first second. We discussed all the details about their day: where it will be, what the plan is, and who they are.

We then moved onto planning “our” portrait session!

We scheduled an engagement portrait session and picked a day and place: Centennial Park here in Sydney. I love that place—so many great spots and ideas for photos!

The next stop was the venue scouting.

Winbourne estate is just beautiful. Really happy that I got a chance to visit it with Danica and Jeremiah and have a private tour before their wedding day!

And the Day finally came!

02.06.2024

We started the day with the “Winbourne” room and the preparation of Jeremiah. We set the fire, we played chess and laughed a lot!

Jem's Nanna had the most kind, warm and contagious smile!

After that, we moved onto film and photograph Danica’s last touchups,

changing into the wedding dress and the last moments before the next chapter of her life.

Documenting her every step leading to a new life.

We were all concerned about the rain, as it had been raining the whole week prior to the wedding, and was even forecasted on the wedding day itself!. We had Plan B, C, D ready to pull up:

  • wedding ceremony under the roof,

  • umbrellas,

  • raincoats.

Literally everything to be able to have the wedding in that magical forest.

I think someone listened because the weather was just stunning!

It wouldn’t feel like a wedding without a portrait session!

We had only 20 minutes of sunlight left, so we had to work fast!

When a couple is not sure if they would like to have a wedding film or not, I always point towards 2 moments:

  • the wedding vows

  • the reception

Those 2 moments are always filled with emotions, tears, laughter, hugs and extremely touching words.

Photographs can only remind you of that important moment, but films can bring you right back there.

Danica and Jeremiah's reception was no different.

So many powerful speeches, touching moments, tears and raw emotions. I really loved every second of that.

Thank you Danica and Jeremiah for trusting me and being so amazing to us!

All the best for you two!
