*Kirsty & Abraham Wedding**Sydney, 02.09.2023*

It’s so easy to love you, I remember the earlier days when I’ve said that,
and you said “just wait and see”.
But it hasn’t changed one bit….

Preparation and Anticipation

Kirsty’s morning was really lovely to be part of.

When we arrived, she was already in her dress and laughing with her friends.
Everyone was excited, and just enjoying those last quiet moments before the ceremony.

What stood out to me were all the small personal details. The flower crown, her mum’s watch, the jewellery.

It felt very natural. Not forced, not overly posed, just Kirsty being with her people before walking into the next part of the day with Abraham.

It was a beautiful way to begin the wedding.

The Scenic Setting

Castlereagh Hall had a really relaxed feel to it.

The venue was surrounded by open space, fields and horses, which gave the day a nice country atmosphere without feeling too formal.

Abraham was getting ready in a cottage nearby with his best man, groomsmen and family. Everyone was in good spirits, having a laugh and enjoying the morning before the ceremony.

What I noticed most was how proud his family seemed. You could tell this was a big moment for them, and it was really nice to see Abraham surrounded by the people closest to him before the day properly began.

A Ceremony Filled with Love

The ceremony was short, but it had so much feeling in it.

Kirsty and Abraham’s vows were really beautiful. They were personal, and sooo deep, and you could tell everyone was properly listening to them.
It was one of those moments where you understand straight away how much they mean to each other.

And once the ceremony finished, the whole mood just lifted.
Everyone was smiling, hugging, kissing and coming over to congratulate them.

It was such a happy part of the day. Nothing felt stiff or formal, just a lot of love from everyone around them.

Capturing Love in Portraits

After the ceremony, we went into the portrait session with Kirsty and Abraham.

The light was really nice at that time of day, so we kept things relaxed and let them enjoy a few minutes together away from everyone else.

They were laughing, holding each other, and just taking it all in. You could tell they were happy, but also a little relieved that the ceremony was done and they could finally breathe.

The photos from that part of the day felt really natural, and very them.

The Celebration Begins

And then the party started properly.

Their entrance was so much fun. As soon as they walked in, the room just changed. You could feel everyone getting excited.
Kirsty had told me they were going to dance after the entrance, but I didn’t really know what to expect.
Then the music started, they began dancing, and it made complete sense.

People started joining in. Family, friends, everyone. It got loud, fun, a little chaotic in the best way,
and you could see how happy everyone was for them.

That was one of the nicest things about their wedding. It didn’t feel formal or separated.
It felt like everyone was there together, properly celebrating Kirsty and Abraham.

A lot of love, a lot of laughs, and a very good start to the night.
